8 Qualities of Successful Women

We’ve often heard it said in life that it’s not about what you know but who you know, other than God of course. Well, Healthy Black Women has given us 8 ways to achieve the success many of us are seeking.

1. Harmony – When you have a balance between what you think, what you say, and what you do, you will achieve a state of harmony.

2. Balance – This is the result of harmony because there is no disconnect between what you are thinking, what you are saying, and what you are doing.

3. Courage – Everyone needs a little courage now and then. Perhaps it is the courage to speak up about an idea at work that could lead to you being promoted. Sometimes it isn’t just about the action at all but rather how you are thinking or feeling at the moment.

4. Generosity – Give freely and as often as you can. When you give to others with no strings attached and no expectations, you can achieve the harmony and balance mentioned above.

5. Happiness – When we are happy we are more apt to land in a better place. Think happy thoughts.

6. Wisdom – Knowing how to make the right decisions at the right time is very important when you are trying to become successful. Make sure you think about your choices thoroughly before deciding.

7. Cleanliness – A cluttered and messy life will get you nowhere. Organize, not only your home and work space, but your thoughts as well.successful. Make sure you think about your choices thoroughly before deciding.

8. Beauty – It is all in the eye of the beholder. When you think about yourself as being beautiful your confidence is naturally boosted.

In the parable of the talents, we see three servants being given goods from their Master. The Master leaves and returns. But, while the Master is gone, His expectation is that each servant would create, exchange, and increase what He had given them.

He gave to each of them according to their own supernatural ability. Or, I can put it this way, each of them were born with the knowledge they needed to be wealthy, prosperous, and successful. Each of them would respond to the goods given to them based on what was already in them. What’s in you?

We see the servants who have five and two talents multiplying what they were given. But, the servant with the one talent hid his Lord’s money. He said he was afraid. He did not want to lose what the Master had given him. But, the thing he feared is what happened to him; what he had was taken away.

I want to encourage you and say that you have everything you need to live a prosperous and successful life. I know that the fear you feel is real to you. However, the fear of not pleasing the Master should be more of a motivator for you to cultivate and search out all the knowledge that you need that will cause you to multiply that which you have. Fear of losing what you are given or fear of people will surely cause you to lose what you did not know you had. Fear paralyzes you. I know sometimes when God gives me something or shares some knowledge with me; I will talk myself out of it. I know that it is fear that I am operating in when I do that. That’s why I can tell you that the fear you feel is real. But, it is not reality!

We fear what has happened or what will happen. And that is what keeps us out of now, the present. It is in the present that God speaks and dwells. I am here to proclaim that you have all that you need in you right now to be successful and prosperous. You can free yourself. All you need is the knowledge and the guidance on how to draw out of you what is already in you. You are wealthy. You are rich. You are prosperous NOW!

Think about what you have right now. Think about what you are naturally good at. Think about what you enjoy more than anything. And I will bet you your success that that “thing” is the “thing” that God wants to use to manifest your riches. You must begin to believe in you. You must stand up and fight for yourself. You have a right to be rich. But, you will lose that right if you allow fear to bind you. The opposite of fear is faith. Where is your faith?

Jesus said I am come that you might have life and life more abundantly. Your abundant life and my abundant life may look, smell, and feel different. But, never the less you have in you all you need. Find a coach, a mentor, a book; find somebody who will love you enough to guide you into your personal truth and Be Free.

One of the reasons why I wrote the book, “The Mis-education of the Christian… On Money and Giving is that I love you to much to not share the truth. Jesus said the truth will make you FREE.

“Get in the Spirit and Dream”

GET In the Spirit and Dream”
Compliments of DeShawn Snow

Sometimes you have to get away to pray in the spirit, worship, truly focus on Him and listen. Then, through the Holy Spirit, we can see and hear God’s desires more clearly. God’s desires become our desires when we are walking closely with Him.

Sometimes, we expect a loud voice to speak directly to us from Heaven. Or perhaps we really are waiting for a vision, a dream, or something. Believe it or not, God will give them to us! When we are in intimacy with God and seeking Him, the desires we begin to feel, and the words we hear, are God given! That is what our father does.

He will begin to whisper and birth desires in our spirit. Sometimes we think we came up with the idea, but it was from Him! And, when He provides the idea, all we have to do is ask! The Bible says you have not because you ask not.

There are many spiritual principals listed all throughout the scriptures, from the Old Testament to New, regarding speaking out loud in faith. If God were to ask you today, “What do you want from me?” what would you tell him?

Remember that God makes the largest; most outrageous things come to pass. When you receive a revelation from Him, you need to write it down, believe through faith what God has told you, and go after it – no matter how outrageous it may seem.

Habakkuk 2:2 says, “Then the LORD answered me and said, ‘Record the vision and inscribe it on talents that the one who read it may run.” Do you see how powerful that instruction is? To write it down then RUN. Part of running is to keep going, even when you face obstacles. Don’t let one, 10 or 100 small things keep you from running after your destiny. God is faithful!

Genesis 18:14 says, “there is nothing too hard for the Lord! When God told Abraham he would have a child with his wife, Sara, he laughed.” Genesis 17:17 says, “Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, shall a child be born to man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear a child?” Romans 4:3 says “God credited Abraham’s unwavering faith as righteousness.”

That is the type of God we serve – a God who wants to make the desires and dreams in our hearts come true. We need to dream big! When you become intimate with the Lord, you must remember to:

Listen for His voice.
Act upon His leading.
Don’t let obstacles stop you
